Enhancement Awards 2016

The Friends of Old Headington Enhancement Awards in 2016 were for two projects - the restoration of St Andrew's church tower and the Bury Knowle Barn and Stables conversion.

The Friends of Old Headington Enhancement Awards for 2016
Veronica Hurst (left, past Chairman of the Friends of Old Headington) presents the Friends of Old Headington Enhancement Award 2016 to Judy Payne (Chairman of the Friends of St Andrew's Church) and Fr Darren McFarland (Vicar and Chairman of St Andrew's Parochial Church Council).
The award citation reads,
'In appreciation of the contribution made to the enhancement of Old Headington by the skilled repair and cleaning of stonework, exemplifying conservation at its best, in the St Andrew’s church tower restoration.'
